All the accepted abstracts will be compiled and published in an official abstract book. The outstanding studies will be recommended for publication in a special issue of Ecohydrology.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

1. Abstract Length:

The abstract must be up to 250 words describing context, specific topic of the study, methods, main results, and conclusions in plain writing. No figures, tables or list of references should be added.

2. Formatting:

Use Times New Roman font, 12-pointsize. Set line spacing to 1.5. Include margins of 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.

3. Title:

The title should be concise and informative (max. 150 characters). It should be centered and in bold.

4. Author Information:

List all authors' names below the title, centered. Include affiliations and contact information (email contact as well as institution) for the corresponding author in a footnote. Authors with their affiliation (the author presenting the paper or poster at the conference must be designated as the Presenting Author)

5. Structure of the Abstract:

Start with the background (1-2 sentences). Clearly state the objectives of the study or project. Describe the methods used (if applicable). Summarize the key findings and their significance. Conclude with potential implications for the forestry community.

6. Keywords:

Include 3 to 5 keywords at the end of the abstract, italicized and listed on a new line.

7. Submission:

Submit the abstract as a PDF document via the conference website by the specified deadline.

Please note that abstracts may be submitted in English only.

Authors must select one of the following options: oral only; poster only. The session organizers will decide on the length of a talk.

Poster areas will be open and free to visit during the whole conference.

Authors are limited to a maximum of two abstracts as presenting author, although an individual may belisted as a co-author on several abstracts.

Organizers will review the abstracts for scientific quality, topical significance and relevance to the conference themes and to the particular session to which the abstract is submitted, and assign them as oral or poster presentations. You will be informed in due time about the type and length of your presentation.

Authors will be informed if their abstract is accepted by 1 August 2025.
